Program Tours

STEM Learning Center - Program TouRS

We are happy to share the mission of our program with those interested in what we hope to accomplish and what we strive to be.

In this photo, we showcase our program to our State Superintendent Keith Hayashi, our Complex Area Superintendent Robert Davis, and other members of the Doe and Board of Education. As a customary practice for each tour visit, we prepared a gift from our program for the State Superintendent.

We are always excited to share our program with new people eager to learn more about what Waialua Robotics offers.

This photo showcases our program tour to Japanese students from schools in Tokyo and Yokohama. We gave “omiyage” goodie bags for each of our guests as customary practices for our tour visits. The highlight for some of the students was our Toyota AE86 GT-S “Hachiroku,” seen in the film Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift.

As a small team from Oahu, Hawaii, we do our best to maintain friendly relationships with our fellow robotics teams on the island.

Pearl City HS CTE-Robotics and Engineering principal and teachers came to see our program along with mentors from SPAWAR. They participated in a WFA conference call at lunchtime, then did a tour in the afternoon with Senator Espero, an avid supporter of STEM in Hawai’i. We all agree that a High School Robotics STEM Super-center hub is what our state needs!

We look forward to providing more program tours to all, coming from both near and far. From the Hawaiian Kids Team 359, we appreciate your continued support!

We hosted Patrick and Wilson from the FRC Robotics Team 254, “The Cheesy Poofs,” giving them a tour of our Waialua Robotics STEM Learning Center.
