What Is the FIRST Impact award?
The FIRST Impact Award (formerly known as the Chairman’s Award) is the most prestigious award in FIRST, honoring the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and best embodies the mission of FIRST. It was created to keep the central focus of FIRST Robotics Competition on the ultimate goal of transforming the culture in ways that will inspire greater levels of respect and honor for science and technology as teams encourage today’s youth to become STEM leaders.

Our team has continued to work to improve our community and state by working with teams and donating Special Projects! In 2022, we won the FIRST Impact Award, previously known as the Chairman’s Award, in Ventura Regional! FIRST Imapct Exchanges
Last year, we launched an initiative to host over 10 “FIRST Impact Award Exchanges,” both in-person and virtually. These exchanges have become a melting pot of ideas, strategies, and experiences, bringing together FIRST teams from across the world. By regularly meeting, we are able to exchange knowledge and experience with other teams such as Team 316: Lunatecs, who won the FIRST Impact Award for the first time in their team’s history. These team-to-team collaborations allow us to share and adopt different ideas with teams as we learn, grow, and inspire, together!
