December 2024

On December 14th, 2024 Teams 359B, 359C, 3590A, and 3590D showed up to Nanakuli High and Intermediate stoked to compete!

TEAM COLLABORATIONS

Many friendships and connections were made during this tournament. A memorable moment of camaraderie was when another team was missing a conveyor, and 359B lent them their extra one! We are always advocating for our teams to lend a helping hand, and we are proud to say that they do.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS AND CELEBRATIONS

Qualification matches ended, and Alliance selection started up. At this time, we will be finding out what teams will be moving on into the Elimination rounds. 359B, ranked 4th, was chosen by 42700E, ranked 3rd. Together, they were the 2nd seed! 3590A, ranked 8th, chose 3590D, ranked 9th. And they were the 5th seed! 359B competed until the 3rd match of the quarterfinals when they unfortunately lost. 3590A and 3590D competed all the way up to the first round of the semifinals. Even though none of our teams won the gold, we were so thankful for the experiences we had gained.

At the West Oahu #2 event, 28 teams from different parts of the state converged in a spirit of camaraderie and teamwork. Excited participants looked forward to showcasing their talents and participating in friendly contests. The venue had a vibrant energy as teams strove to excel in the skills and competition fields. This shared enthusiasm made for a truly unforgettable experience that will be treasured by all who took part in the event.

These treasured experiences will remain etched in our hearts for a lifetime.

Teams 359B, 359C, 3590A, and 3590D are so grateful to have competed in the West Oahu #2 tournament! We are so privileged to be able to go. We also want to acknowledge the efforts put in by our mentors. They truly are the light that guides us through this dark and confusing tunnel. And in hopes we make it to Hawaii VEX States Championship on the 25th and 26th of January, see you there!

Team Arrival and Preparation
