2024 SPECIAL OLYMPICS

JUNE 2024

We volunteer at the Hawaii Special Olympics to support those competing at UH Manoa as we packaged, grilled, and handed out food for upcoming participants.

GRILLING FOOD

Once everyone received their morning breakfast, we continued to make grilled cheese while also packaging more food for competitors. Once everyone had gotten their food again, we began grilling and preparing hotdogs and burgers for lunch to give out!

CELEBRATING SUCCESS

By supporting the amazing adults and keiki, we show our aloha and cheer those competitors whilst we commend our students for their hard work while volunteering. This year, we are excited to give newer students the opportunity to volunteer and share their support for these competitors.

PACKING FOOD

This year, our students were happy to help as we woke up early to get to University Hawaii, Moana and begin packaging fruits, muffins, and a variety of food for competitors. To help cheer our competitors, we did our part to provide nutrition among everyone there! With the help of Castle & Cooke, we volunteer to help those around our community.

SHARING ALOHA

Once again, we celebrate a successful special olympics with the help of Castle & Cooke and UH Manoa while we all work together to support those competing and provide food for everyone! We are thankful to show our spirit and spread the FRC Mission while continuing to encourage that robotics is much more than just robots.
