LOAD IN
Once teams arrived at the venue, we quickly prepared for inspection and upcoming matches, talking to our qualification teammates about match strategies. The Hawaiian Kids scouted teams in between matches and judge interview preparations, taking note of robot designs, team strategies, and driver skills.
ALLIANCE SELECTIONS
Team 359B and their alliance partners, Team 2467J, as well as 3590B and their partners, Team 27301B, were eliminated during the quarterfinals. Team 359C and 3590A won and went on to compete against Team 42700D and 96789Z losing by 65 points, eliminating them from the competition.
AWARDS
Despite our team’s eliminations in the quarterfinals and semifinals, we are glad we could compete at St. Louis. Our less experienced students and middle school teams were given the opportunity to experience true VRC competition! Team 3590A won the Design Award and Team 359C had the highest Driver’s Score of the tournament! We hope to see these teams again soon and can’t wait to keep competing!
