Wahiawa Rotary Club Luncheon

Published by Waialua Robotics on

Our team annually volunteers at the Wahiawa Rotary Christmas Luncheon for the Disabled with the holiday season approaching. Students festively decorate the local hall with Christmas lights and tinsel and even get in the holiday spirit by wearing elf hats. As the people arrive to the event our team gets the chance to hand out Christmas leis spreading that Christmas and Aloha spirit. The team is also given the opportunity to serve them lunch and also have lunch with them. We also participate in traditional caroling along with photo-ops with Santa! At the end of the luncheon, presents (graciously sponsored by Walmart Mililani) are distributed to all attendees. Through an event as simple as a luncheon, Team 359 was able to fill the room with smiles and make an impact on the lives of special individuals in our community. We do this because we find it important to give back to those in our community who need it because our communities support is what keeps us going.
