WEEK ONE
Saturday - January 9, 2021
Aloha! Today was the official first day of build season and we had our annual kickoff. This year was a little bit different since we were not able to go to Mckinley High School and have our annual Zippy’s breakfast. However, this morning, we filmed our Presidential Award Video Lesson by filming every section of our program at work. Following the video documentation continued to edit our website and finished our Pre-Build season monthly video summary. Also the control systems began to work on developing a way to make autos. In the auto shop they worked on their design for the spin dexter and shooter. We had a very productive first day. Tuesday - January 12, 2021
Welcome to our second day of the 2021 Build Season. Today the construction team has been working in the Machine Shop to improve the indexer after taking it apart. Along with that the programming subdivision worked on the autonomous and began working on a new camera. Documentation continues to take pictures and videos to update the website as well as gather videos for our January monthly video. They have also been working on the Chairman’s Award executive summaries and updating the binders, Business Plans, and grant applications. Thursday - January 14, 2021
Today has been a productive day for Team 359! The programinmg team has continued to work on their autonomous as well as improving the overall functioning of the robot. As for the construction team, they were busy doing the wiring for the climber and putting together the turret. Documentation has continued to do what they do every week by updating the website. They also wrote this article you are reading right now. 🙂 Along with updating the website they have been working on editing the Presidential Video as well as working on keeping their binders up to date.
