2ndShift Chips Fruit

On Saturday, June 4, 2016 the Waialua Robotics Team spent their day at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. They volunteered their time to help Castle & Cooke at the Special Olympics competition. The team went right into work by setting up different table stations so everyone could start cooking. Volunteers helped make burgers, hot dogs, and grilled cheese sandwiches. Other food stations included smaller snacks like fruits, chips, and muffins. The food that the team provided was for other volunteers who were out working in the actual event. By the time second shift came, the food was done. All volunteers had to do was to just make sure everyone was fed and having fun! The team was also there to support Waialua’s very own olympian Florencia. In the competition she won 1st place in the softball toss, way to represent Waialua Florencia!
