On December 2, 2008 the Waialua Robotics team took a trip to Castle & Cooke’s administrative building to learn more about their business and how it works. The Hawaiian Kids were offered this opportunity because of their proud sponsorship with Castle & Cooke/Dole Plantation. During their visit, a Castle & Cooke representative presented Team 359 with a slide show. The slide show had a vast amount of information about their business; from how the company got started in 1851 to the present and how the company has enhanced over the large number of years. After that informational presentation the team also received free bentos from Castle & Cooke, which they highly appreciated.
